Message from Head Teacher:
Dear visitor
Welcome to the website for Sproatley Endowed Primary School. Sproatley School is a Voluntary Controlled Church of England School in the York Diocese and in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
We are a small friendly, happy and successful school, set in extensive grounds and in the beautiful village of Sproatley. We also serve several villages around Sproatley. We cater for children aged 3 - 11 and currently have 144 children including those who attend part time. Our Foundation Unit provides an important stepping stone between nursery education and full time school, for children aged between 3 and 5. |

We strive to make sure everyone at our school feels valued and part of our school community. We work to achieve the very best for our children, in co-operation and partnership with parents, Governors, the village community, the York Diocese and the East Riding of Yorkshire Local Authority.
Developing the whole child is important to us and that aim is reflected in all we do. We are proud of the achievements of our children and we aim to help every child develop self confidence and a positive approach to life whilst achieving their own individual potential. |
